COACH DAVE SCHUMAN PRESENTS: The Jarrett Ross Story

Coach Schuman:

As I approach the three week mark until National Signing Day 2013, I wanted to take a moment to thank you and the National Underclassmen Combine (NUC) organization.

You see, it was the NUC and my performance at the combines (Matawan, NJ 2010, combine king and fastest man awards; Red Lion, DE- Ultimate 100-fastest man award), your article highlighting the top 5 players in Delaware, in addition to having some of the best trainers in the country at Stay Real Training, Inc. in Wilmington, DE, that gave me the exposure that I needed to realize my dream of playing college football at the Division 1-A level.

Starting the fall of my junior year, I had letters of interest from all over the country thanks to the marketing system at NUC. I was lucky, however, in that I knew in my heart where I wanted to spend my next four or five years of college. On February 6, 2013, I will be signing my letter of intent with the University of Maryland-College Park…a program that is close to home, that feels like home, that will allow me the opportunity to play early, on a team where my older brother already plays, in an area that I will enjoy living in.

Thanks, Coach Schuman for providing me an opportunity through your combines to get needed exposure for college football programs. I hope that every athlete coming through your program for years to come will realize their dreams of playing at the next level as well.

Sincerely,
Jarrett Ross
